RDS PISTOL CONCEPTS (CV)

This course serves as an introduction to the Red Dot Sight (RDS) as it relates to competitive or recreational shooting. The fundamentals of practical pistol craft remain, but the RDS allows the student to focus more on presentation and trigger time in order to make them more efficient.

Drills and data will be collected so that the student can continue RDS training on their own.

COMPETITIVE PISTOL CONCEPTS (CV)

A base level of firearms training must be achieved prior to being able to take this course. The shooter must have a solid grasp of safety and muzzle direction in relation to their environment to ensure that the entire group can progress. The concepts taught will allow for more efficient processes when it comes to accuracy and speed, movement and manipulations in relation to a competitive pistol environment.

Drills and data will be collected so that the student can continue pistol training on their own.

“Run. Hide. Fight.” These words hold value regarding dealing with incidents of rapid and continuous violence that can take place at any time. Lecture and discussion based, this course will review notable case studies in Canada, Great Britain and the United States of America in order to glean lessons to make the students safer in relation to such events.

As a citizen, employee or employer of others, the concepts in this course can be put to use in everyday life.
