Law Enforcement (LE) - Training Objective

To improve the abilities of LE officers and to make them more capable to solve complex problems and be successful in deadly force encounters.

RDS PISTOL PROGRAM (LE)

"The future, is now. Decide if you want to be a part of it."

Technology has continued to improve the abilities of the modern-day LE officer, and soon the national standard will include the Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol. These optics will assist in firearms familiarization and training, improve officer weapons handling and accuracy, as well as reduce liability in relation to mistake of fact engagements.

This RDS Pistol Program was created by training with the greatest industry experts, as well as professional development and implementation into a large municipal police department. This course can be tailored to your specific needs; from system introduction and transitional training to full instructor level programs.

Our partnership with Black Box Customs enables us to take your organization from the research and evaluation stage, to full active adoption and successful operation of the RDS pistol. We can provide a multitude of optics for familiarization and can guide your agency based on objective requirements and applications.

RDS users will leave with numerous dry and live fire training activities to implement for their own personal improvement.

Successful RDS instructors will receive copies of the teaching materials, business proposals, dry and live fire exercises, as well as be invited to a private closed group for continuing education and networking.

Course length: 2 - 3 days.

Course cost: Depends on duration and equipment requirements.

CONCEALED CARRY CONCEPTS (LE)

Are you comfortable with the amount of training you received to work in an undercover (UC) environment? Did your department train you in UC tactics, or simply have you pass a qualification with a compact pistol?

This course is designed for the UC, plain clothes or surveillance officer. Most agencies within Canada do very little to set up their UC operatives for success in hazardous environments. This program will adapt to your specific deployment needs and cover essential modalities of training to engage your officers in their non-traditional roles of policing.

Students will leave with numerous dry and live fire training activities to implement for their own personal improvement.

TACTICAL PISTOL CONCEPTS (LE)

Ask yourself... "Can I make the shot?" It is a question only you can answer based on your training, dedication and ability.

The pistol is the primary weapon system for most LE officers around the world; due to its minimal footprint, portability and accessibility. As such, members should be trained to the highest level of proficiency in this platform as it is always guaranteed to be within reach. This program further challenges current paradigms and further develops the most efficient way to use the pistol in a modern policing environment.

We do not encourage or support going against the training that you have already received; however, we will give you metrics and standards in which you can compare your performance against others and make you the most proficient you can be.

TACTICAL RIFLE CONCEPTS (LE)

Have you been trained beyond a basic rifle familiarization course? Can you perform at both 7 yards and at 100, in a realistic environment?

More police agencies across the globe are seeing the benefit of utilizing carbines or semi-automatic rifles for improving the abilities of their LE officers based on the increasing complexities of the job. Canada is no exemption and although most departments have a training regime in place regarding this weapon system, we will take the rifle operator to a new level of decision making and employment in a policing environment and make them more effective than previous thought possible.

FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM (LE)

Be the standard of which others hold themselves to.

Firearms instruction within the Canadian LE community has gone unchanged for years due to dogmatic processes. This program will address these common issues and challenge the current modalities of instructors in favor of more efficient tactics and methods of teaching. We use a pragmatic approach to refine training standards based on your departments issued equipment, current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, as well comparisons of these on a national level.

Regardless of the various weapon systems (pistol, carbine, shotgun) that are deployed by your agency; this program will help make your trainers more comprehensive in their instruction, and to serve as a benchmark for others across the country.

Successful instructors will receive copies of the teaching materials, training proposals, dry and live fire exercises, as well as be invited to a private closed group for continuing education and networking.

Course length: 4 days
