Law Enforcement - Training Objective
To improve the capabilities of officers and make them more efficient at solving complex problems.
RED DOT SIGHT PISTOL PROGRAM (RDS)
"The future, is now."
Technology has continued to improve the abilities of the modern police officer; soon the national standard will include the Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol.
These optics assist in firearms familiarization and training, improve weapons handling and accuracy, allow for proper threat focus and reduce liability in relation to mistake of fact engagements.
The RDS Pistol Program was created by training with the greatest industry experts; as well as professional design, development and implementation of this technology into a major municipal police department. This course can be tailored to your specific needs; from system introduction and transitional training and full instructor level programs.
Our partnership with Black Box Customs enables us to take your organization from the research and evaluation stage, to full adoption and successful employment of the RDS pistol. We can provide a multitude of optics for familiarization and guide your agency based on specific requirements and areas of operations.
RDS users will leave with numerous dry and live-fire training drills for their own personal improvement.
Successful RDS instructors will receive copies of the program materials, business proposals, dry and live-fire exercises, as well as be invited to a private closed group for continuous education.

This program will adapt to your specific deployment requirements and cover essential modalities of training to engage your officers in their non-traditional roles of policing.
Students will leave with numerous dry and live-fire training drills for their own personal improvement, as well as confidence in their abilities in both covert and overt capacities.

TACTICAL PISTOL CONCEPTS (TPC)
"Say when..."
The pistol is the primary weapon system for most police officers around the world; due to its portability and accessibility. Members should be trained to the highest level of proficiency with their handgun as it is always guaranteed to be within reach.
This program challenges current paradigms and further develops the most efficient way to use the pistol in modern law enforcement situations.
We do not encourage discarding the training that you have already received; rather, we will give standards and metrics to which you can compare your performance and challenge yourself to be the most capable you can be.
Students will leave with numerous dry and live-fire drills for their own personal improvement.

TACTICAL RIFLE CONCEPTS (TRC)
"Beyond the basics."
Most police agencies understand the benefit of utilizing carbines, or semi-automatic rifles, for improving the abilities of their law enforcement officers due to the increasing complexities of the job.
Canada is no exception and although some departments have a training regime in place regarding this weapon system; our program will take the rifle operator to a new level of decision making and employment in a realistic policing environment to make them more effective than thought possible.
Students will leave with numerous dry and live-fire drills for their own personal improvement.

FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM (FIP)
"Be the standard to which others are held."
Firearms instruction within the Canadian law enforcement community has gone unchanged for years due to dogmatic processes.
This program will address common issues and challenge current instructional modalities to favour more efficient methods of teaching. We use a pragmatic approach to refine training standards based on your departments issued equipment, current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, as well comparisons of these on a national level.
Regardless of the various weapon systems (pistol, carbine, shotgun) that are deployed by your agency; this program will help make your trainers more comprehensive in their instruction and to serve as a benchmark for others across the country.
Successful instructors will receive copies of teaching materials, training proposals, dry and live-fire exercises; as well as be invited to a private closed group for continuous education.
Course Length: 4 days (40 hours)
Course Cost: $950 CDN
